NAS (Network Attached Storage) drives are shared drives which are accessed over the network allowing multiple users to see the same disk.

The NAS drive is connected to a router via Ethernet and 2 – 200 users (depending on the drive) can access the disk via the network. Either via Ethernet, Wi-Fi or remotely via a web browser.

Network drives are a convenient way of sharing data with multiple users, e.g. in an office or being able to access your data off site.
