Description

The Rugged RAID Shuttle is the latest evolution in the long line of LaCie’s synonymous Rugged Range.

Moving up a level from the Rugged RAID PRO, the Rugged RAID Shuttle doubles the capacity to a whopping 8TB and provides data transfer speeds up to 250MB/s when configured in RAID 0.

Easy RAID Setup

Rugged RAID Shuttle can be configured in either RAID 0 or RAID 1 using LaCie Toolkit software.

For full capacity (8TB) and maximum transfer speed (up to 250MB/s) choose RAID 0. Ideal for video editing or fast data transfer on set.

For dual backup choose RAID 1. This halves the capacity to 4TB but your data is stored on both disks. Should a disk fail you can access your files on the working disk. Ideal for secure storage.

Power

The Rugged RAID Shuttle is BUS powered when plugging into Thunderbolt-3 or USB-C interface. It does require mains power when connecting to USB 3.0 (power supply included).

Wide Flat Design

Designed to fit neatly in a shipping envelope should you need to send the files offsite. Also small enough to fit in your gear bag.

Password Protection

Use the included Seagate Secure Self-Encryption Software to protect against un-authorised access.

Rugged Design

As with all Rugged products the RAID Shuttle is Drop, rain, dust and crush resistant!

I/O Port

The RAID Shuttle 8TB has a single USB Type-C port. This gives ultimate flexibility as it is forwards and backwards compatible with USB-C, Thunderbolt 3 and USB 3.0.
