About Us

Since 1989, Protape DataStores has been the trusted supplier of professional recording media and high-performance storage solutions across the UK. We have evolved alongside industry technologies during that time. Today, we are leading data storage suppliers, providing custom RAID architecture for 4K-8K video editing workflows, secure encrypted hardware, and enterprise LTO systems – as well as timeless formats such as open reel tape.

Beyond supplying hardware, our London-based technical team offers hard drive diagnostics, health checks, and data recovery services to protect your high-pressure projects. Our focus remains on combining competitive pricing with exceptional customer care.

Our focus remains on combining exceptional customer care, competitive pricing and delivery options to match budgets and deadlines, including 1-hour delivery in the West End, same-day across London, and next-day nationwide delivery.
