Featuring a USB4 interface with bandwidth of up to 40Gbps, the Fortis provides a high-speed connection for demanding workflows, including high-resolution video production, large media libraries and professional data management.

This version is supplied as an empty 0TB chassis, giving you the freedom to install your own drives and build a storage solution tailored to your requirements.

Five Drive Bays for Flexible Storage

With five internal SATA drive bays, the Fortis makes it easy to build a high-capacity external storage system using your preferred drives.

Whether you’re managing video rushes, photographic archives, production assets or large working datasets, you can select the drive capacities that best suit your storage needs.

The enclosure is supplied without drives, allowing you to choose your own storage capacity and compatible RAID or drive-management solution.

USB4 40Gbps Connectivity

The Fortis is compatible with computers featuring USB4 or Thunderbolt 3, Thunderbolt 4 or Thunderbolt 5 connectivity, making it suitable for a range of modern Mac and Windows workstations.

Please note: the Fortis USB4 is not compatible with USB 3.x or earlier interfaces. Your computer must have a supported USB4 or Thunderbolt connection.
