Description
The LaCie 2big RAID is an ideal all round desktop RAID solution which can provide data transfer speeds up to 440MB/s (in RAID 0).
With a single USB-C port, it will connect to the latest MAC’s with Thunderbolt 3 and USB-C but is also backwards compatible to traditional USB3.0 devices with the included ‘USB-C to USB3’ cable.
RAID
2Big RAID can be left in RAID 0 for maximum performance and capacity (ideal for video editing) or configured to RAID 1 for realtime mirrored backup (ideal for security, two copies of your data!).
The 2Big has ‘Hot-Swappable Drives’ which can be easily removed and replaced whilst in operation.

Enterprise Class Drives
LaCie 2Big uses only the best internal hard drives for maximum reliability and endurance. It contains two 7200RPM/64MB cache (or greater) IronWolf Pro enterprise-class hard drives.
LaCie RAID Manager
The LaCie RAID management software monitors the health of the drives and alerts the user in the case of failure.
Warranty
LaCie 2big has a 5 year warranty which includes data recovery so you can rest assured if the worst happens LaCie will recover the data for free (providing data recovery is possible!).
