The Avastor HDX desktop hard drive has been the “go to” PRO hard drive for audio and video professionals worldwide. Rigorous testing combined with the best chipsets make for a solid, reliable storage device.
The HDX Pro includes a built-in silent fan to ensure that your drive stays cool. An internal power supply eliminates the need for an inconvenient wall adapter and makes for an easy setup.
Daisy chain with USB!
The Avastor HDX Pro is the latest incarnation and follows on from the HDX-1500. The HDX Pro chassis has two USB Type-C ports. This allows you to daisy chain another drive via the USB Hub port on the back of the HDX Pro. Useful if you are using a MAC Air with only two USB-C ports.
- Main Port: USB-C (USB 3.1 Gen2)
- Secondary Port: USB-C (USB 3.1 Gen2) for daisy-chaining or additional USB devices
Easy Open Chassis
The internal HDD or SSD can be easily removed and replaced by using the HDX’s unique ‘screwless’ designed chassis.
Lock Box Carry Case
The Avastor HDX Pro ships in a useful carry case which holds both the drive and cables.
