Popular LaCie Mobile Drives
The LaCie Rugged Hard Drive is synonymous with robust portable storage and is one of our most popular mobile hard disks we sell.
The Rugged is designed with life on the road in mind. As its name suggests, the Rugged Hard Drive has been built to withstand the slings and arrows that may befall a “travelling” drive.
It conforms to military standards and can support drops from up to two meters. It helps you carry your files with confidence, no matter where the road takes you, thanks to its shock-absorbing sleeve, aluminum anti-scratch casing, internal rubber bumpers, and a 1000G shock-resistant hard drive.
Available in 1TB, 2TB, 4TB, 5TB.
Portable RAID Solution
For those requiring faster data transfer, high storage capacity and portability, LaCie provide the LaCie Rugged RAID Shuttle 8TB.
The Rugged RAID Shuttle provides 8TB of storage in RAID 0 with 250MB/s transfer speed or can be configured to RAID 1 for mirrored backup (4TB, up to 130MB/s). BUS powered via USB-C & Thunderbolt 3 but require mains power when used with USB 3.0 (PSU included).
The small form factor makes it ideal for shipping up 8TB of data.
LaCie Solid State Drives (SSD)
SSD’s are much faster than traditional spinning HDD’s. They are also much more resilient due to no visible moving parts. LaCie provide 3 mobile SSD options, each with different transfer speeds, they are all fast!
LaCie SSD’s are ideal for DIT’s ‘on set’ who need to offload data quickly or editing demanding 4K-8k video whilst travelling.

LaCie d2
The d2 desktop by LaCie has been reduced further in form factor and now contains an Enterprise Class 7200rpm HDD, ranging from 4TB up to 24TB!
The d2 Professional has a single USB-C port (compatible with Thunderbolt 3) and a 5 year warranty which includes Seagate Data Recovery Service.

LaCie 2Big
The LaCie 2Big is a two disk RAID storage solution. The 2Big is ideal for video editing (in RAID 0) but can also be configured to RAID 1 to provide a mirrored backup. Available in capacities up to 48TB (2 x 24TB inside).
There are two interface options.
- 2Big with a single USB-C port.
- 2Big Dock with dual Thunderbolt 3 (for daisy chain).
The 2Big Dock also has CFexpress Type B, CFast 2.0, and SD Card Slots as well as a USB type-A port for charging or connection traditional USB 3.0 drives.
LaCie 2Big has 5 year warranty which includes Seagate Data Recovery Services.
