Description
The OWC ThunderBlade x12 is an external RAID storage solution populated with 12 x NVMe M.2 SSD’s to provide extremely fast transfer speeds up to 6600MB/s when connected via Thunderbolt 5. Ideal for editing 4K to 12K footage or providing lighthing fast data transfers on set.
RAID options
The ThunderBlade x12 is configured in RAID 5 via the included softRAID software. It can be re-configured to RAID 0/1/4/5/1+0 (10) volumes via the easy to use softRAID software interface.
Storage Capacities
ThunderBlade x12 is available in four different capacity options:
- 12TB (provides ~11TB usable storage in RAID 5)
- 24TB (provides ~22TB usable storage in RAID 5)
- 48TB (provides ~44TB usable storage in RAID 5)
- 96TB (provides ~88TB usable storage in RAID 5)
